No light on LCD display of PIXMA TS702

I really lie the printer - is doing a great job. The only terrible thing is that LCD display do not have backlight. since I do change paper format often  - I have to go through ending prompts with the flashlight. So whoever was a designer - he / she / it - should be ...... spoken to. It is a terrible inconvenience.

Yes, that is a horrible design flaw. Other than that, I like the printer. I also have to keep a flashlight next to the printer.
