The printer made a loud thump which sounded like the printer head hitting the end of the carriage track then stopped printing.
I pulled the paper out and retried printing.
The printer made the usual setting up sounds but then made the same thump followed by a screech.
When I lifted the cover, the machine drive commences, the printer head starts to move to the right then thumps back left followed by a screech.
Help.
Has anyone had similar problem.
