POSSIBLY RESOLVED PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO LAST PHOTO
I want to sign up for the moderate level ink service [the Prixma $6.99 per month] and I made an honest (and frustrating 😩) attempt at it. However, I think this may have something to do with it 👉: It showed me software [setup.exe] to install for Windows but it won't complete. I've attached photos. I'm an older GenXer who usually figures things out on accident. But I just don't have time to work on this any further without help. I have a cheap little HP Laptop with Windows. I see I need to update Windows and will try that as well.
I've included a photo of my Windows "update needed" too.
Set UP and Windows
I think its resolved. If I am seeing this, does this mean everything is good? [Photo below]

Hi, Jen!
I removed your personal information from the second image - to protect your privacy.
I'm sorry you're having trouble signing up for the PIXMA Print Plan. Support may be able to help at 1-800-OK-CANON (800-652-2666). They're open from 9am to 6pm (ET).

You appear to have 1 printer successfully registered. As long as it has access to the internet and can communicate with Canon's servers, you should be all set.
Also wanted to suggest that you skip 24H2 and go directly for the 25H2 windows update. If you have any unmet prerequisites, Windows update will take care of it for you. 😉
I installed it a few days ago on two of my machines and everything's running smoothly.

Thank you so much for that advice Mr. Rick! I gotta say, I learned a harsh "get what ya pay for" lesson with this little HP laptop. Oy! My old Acer, which is physically falling apart, runs better and faster than this new cheapy little thing lol. Maybe the update will help! Thanks again!
