Windows 7 64bit fully patched...
This unit works fine on windows 8.1.
I tried the driver that came with the printer as well as the two found online....
mast-win-mx920-1_0-ucd and
mp68-win-mx920-1_00-ea32_2
Same malfunction with both drivers.
Anybody else seen this?

Hi donnyg,
The Windows Firewall may be blocking the scanner from operating wirelessly. Let's try temporarily turning off the FIrewall:
1. Open Windows Firewall by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Security, and then clicking Windows Firewall.
2. Click Turn Windows Firewall on or off. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3. Click Off (not recommended), and then click OK.

Turning off firewall did not solve the problem. I'm contacting Canon Support from your link.
