MP 5620 printing font outlines only

my canon mp5620 all in one printer has recently started to print documents incorrectly. On web page documents, it would only print background shapes and colours.... no fonts. Recently fonts have returned but all are just outlines as if printer is in an ink saving mode which does not exist with it. I took a pdf document file to library to print and it came out fine. I tried all the fixes of resetting printer ( they do not work) but now the printer has decided that it does not recognize the yellow ink tank. i can print photos with no problems at all. Im thinking that Windows 10 has altered software maybe with an update but i dont have a clue as to find out how to repair. please help me as i dont want to go buy more ink only to find out printer has malfunctioned and needs to be replaced. Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. Your printer is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
