IX6820 Set Up For Wireless Printing Problem on New Laptop

I have a personal laptop that has no issues with wireless (wifi) printing.  However, when I went to set up the printer on my new work laptop, the software said that it couldn't see the printer (I used what I thought was the right procedure of holding down wireless button until the power button flashes twice, etc.), and I can only connect via USB cable.  Am I doing something wrong? 

 

I had this same issue on another printer I used to own, as well:  First laptop setup works wirelessly, second has to connect via USB in order to print.  I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong, I just don't know what that would be...

Thank you for the advice, but I tried that (after seeing similar responses to other queries) and only found my way back here.  I'll try again and see if I get a different result, but it's not clear how to get hold of a Tech Support Rep...
