IX-6280 no longer gives paper options for printing

I recently bought a new Mac Mini Pro and now when I go to print from Adobe Illustrator, I no longer have options under media type/quality & media. My only options are "Standard" or "Custom"; also, the only presets are "Draft on plain paper" or "Fine on plain paper". I no longer have any options to choose from photo paper. I have downloaded and installed the latest driver for my OS. Can anyone offer a solution? This printer worked amazingly with my old Mac, but now, without any options, it's useless.

Thanks for joining the conversation, kbowman016!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using.  To date, Canon USA hasn't put out a printer with the model name "IX-6280" but we have released the similarly-named PIXMA iX6820.  Is this what you have?

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!

Hi - yes, I meant the PIXMA iX6820. I found a sort of work around but re-installing the printer itself and now I can select "photo papers" under the Media Type. However, the selections are not as robust as they used to be, with only six choices available and only "High, Standard, and Custom" options under Print Quality. I remember having more choices.
