I need help getting a bad paper jam out of my Canon printer.  How do I get to the paper jam?

I was able to get the paper out of the printer but I still get the code 5100 and there is a yellow triangle flashing on the right hand side of the front of the printer.  I have turned the printer off and back on but I continue to get the 5100 code and the yellow triangle isi flashing.  Any ideas on how I could fix this?  I appreciate your help.
