Bought the printer in 2017 and used it only a handful of times before it broke before it was a month old, It had paper jammed in it, I opened the back and took it out but it didn't work afterwards. Two years later and I try to fix it again, google the manual, which literally is no help, Watch countless of videos, try to factory reset before realising you can't without it actually working, Cleaned the clear strip multiple times, wipe of dust multiple times, Find a random piece of packaging in it so I take it out, but still doesn't work, I've tried everything I can find with google. What do I do? I'm giving up on it.

Greetings,
There are a few causes for Error 5100
Sounds like you have tried most of them. You said the printer stopped working after a month odf ownership. Product was still under warranty so not sure why you didn't utilize that.
Removing paper jams (most common cause of errors) can be tricky. Its easy to leave remnant corners of stuck pages or jams inside the printer. You also need to remove paper jams gently.
Hopefully the article I referenced will help.
