G4280 - Smartphone print quality

Just got done installing a brand-new G4280. While the print quality is fine when printing from my PC, all colors (including black) are totally washed out when printing from my phone (Pixel 8A) using the Android “Canon Print” app from the Google Play Store.

There doesn’t seem to be any setting in the app to control print quality, so I’m stumped. How do I fix this issue?

Disregard. Apparently, this unit does not like printing photos on plain paper regardless of the print quality setting, which is still a bummer.
