Canon mx430 -- printer not responding, can anyone help with this?

My canon mx430 is not printing, my laptop is generating a message that reads, "printer cannot be detected."

I tried a new usb cable, rebooting my laptop, powering down the printer, resetting the print spool and nothing has worked, any suggestions? Thank you!
