Canon ip8720

I thought ip8720 can print paper size 11x17, however there is no such size to choose , even after using the canon photo editor programs, it says it is not compatible with size 11x17.

You should be able to add any size paper (as I did) by selecting the "Custom" paper size from the Page Size drop-down list. It should be listed at the bottom of this list. NOTE: To access the Custom as well as many other paper sizes including 11 x 17, PAGE LAYOUT must NOT be set to Borderless. If it is, you will not see 11x17 or most of the other many sizes the printer does support, including envelopes
