My 4 year old printer has now become a victim of the dreaded 1403 'Incorrect print head fitted' error message, so the saga continues, clearly Canon are happy for this problem to run and run. I have tried various on line solutions all to no effect so I contacted Canon custamer service who informed me that the printer would have to be returned for repair. That would mean no printer avalable for at least a week. The adviser agreed with me that the cost of the repair could well exceed the cost of a new printer so I told the adviser that I would do what they do on You Tube, take it outside and jump up and down on it and never buy a Canon product again. I have now replaced it with an Epsom.
