Can anyone provide a definitive difference in the amount of ink in these three cartridges. The price differences are substantial, so I need to know if the additional ink is worth the expense. For example, the XXL cartridge costs more than double the standard, so I need to know it contains more thatn double the amount of ink. Otherwise, I'm better off buying standard. (the XL is about 60% more than standard).

Hi dwolff51,
What are the numbers of the inks that you are referring to? (For example: PGI-255 XXL, CLI-281 XXL, etc)

The ink numbers I'm referring to are listed in the title: CLI-281 vs CLI-281XL vs CLI-281XXL

I think I just found my own answer by asking Gemini AI. The volumes were listed as follows. I also added the approximate cost per ml for each cartridge.
Thus, I've confirmed that the larger tanks do cost less per ml.
