BJC-85 error messages

My faithful BJC-85 is having an issue.  When I turn it on, I heard 3 beeps, then the error light flashes once, then the green power light flashes continually.  After a few minutes, there are another 3 beeps, and then both the error and green light stay on, no flashing.  It has a new cartridge, I tried doing a head cleaning, but it wouldn't, what do I need to do?

The 3 beep error with your BJC-85 is an indication that the printer does not recognize the cartridge.  The cartridge is the holder that the ink sits in, its the green piece:

Replacing the BC-10 or BC-11e should resolve this issue.
