When I'm in Edit mode in DPP, I have adopted a top to bottom, left to right approach in working with the software settings and its various panels. But that might not be right. Generally I begin with the Basic Adjustment Tool Palette, tweak what I need to and move on to the next panel. But a close review of the DPP 4 user guide, approaches it differently. There, in the Basic panel they describe things beginning with the Brightness slider and then jump down to the bottom of the panel and select and adjust a Picture Style, and so forth.
This is not top to bottom, left to right. I realize that not everything in a CR2 needs to be adjusted, but still, I like to follow a logical flow.
Does it really matter what settings you tweak in what order? What about Lens Correction, which is at the very top? In the manual, they seem to suggest applying Lens Correction last. What is your workflow in Edit?
