I am having trouble with my old version of the app. If i delete the app and reload the newer version,

will I lose the previous folders. I use Apple devices

You won't lose anything. The app only retains camera connections.

If the folders are managed by the app (i.e. internal to the app), then deleting the app will delete them as well.
