Hey everyone, I just updated the firmware on my t5i to the latest one (1.1.4), after that i noticed that, while in manual (or any creative mode), when i use a shortcut directional button such as the white balance button, which corresponds to the "Up" directional button, the lcd will turn itself off for about half a second after selecting or adjusting whatever function i previously selected. I was wondering if any of you are having this problem, if I do it via touchscreen then the lcd doesn't turn off, it only turns itself off if i use one of the directional shorcut buttons. The camera didn't do that previously the firmware update.
