EOS Utility not working with OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 - 7D

Whenever I try to pair my 7D to my mac this EOSU bubble popped up saying "cannot be used with this version of the operating system"

Versions prior to 2.14 are said not to work on Yosemite. 2.14 is downloadable but does nit install - no cure, no help for your Problem - sorry.
