Canon EOS 5D MkII and EOS Software

I've downloaded the recommended version for MacOs Big Sur, plus the update, and am receiving this message, when I click on "Remote Shooting":

"A Compatible Version of EOS Utility is not installed"

Has anyone experienced this?

You wouldn't be missing features of EOS Utility when opening it through DPP, if it WOULD open through DPP. Guess it doesn't want to on the Mac. On my Windows computer it opens fine from DPP.
