Problem with pixela camera access

Hi

I bought a few days ago a Canon Legria HFR46.

I bought this camera because the smarphone app, because I want use my smartphone as a remote control.

I Dowloaded the app from google play store and now the application just not work...when oppen, closes in 1 second...

My phone is an Android 2.3.5 and in Google Paly Store pages says: requirement android 2.3 - 4.0.3

I have a lot of free space on my phone, so i dont now why dont work...

If I cant find a solution i have to send the camera back...

This is my first Canon product purchase and it is very upsetting that Canon flat out lies to sell its’ products. For them to sell cameras where the remote control is your smartphone, well then CANON should be the ones making that software and making it UNIVERSAL! There’s simply no excuse for this and there should very well be a class-cation suit against CANON, not Pixela. This is 100% the fault of Canon.

My Android is 2.3.4 and works perfectly well! So now I’m expected to buy another phone or return the Canon product. It is time to go back to Nikon or Sony!

2014 and I have a camcorder WITHOUT remote control! Seriously? You suck CANON!
