Need a Canon E51 Camcorder Manual

Title is my ask. If anyone has any information on where to find a free online version of this manual, I’d greatly appreciate it.

It’s a Canon E51 8mm Camcorder. I’d love to get it to work, but when I look through the lens I don’t see anything, and I can’t start recording. Lens cap is off, power is on and camera light is blinking, 8mm tape is in the player.

36-year old camera, which film is not available for.  I see manuals for purchase on eBay.

Give it up. If it's broken, getting it fix is problematic.
