Hi sharif31,

The Canon HEVC Codec 1.0.0 download you mentioned is required for encoding or decoding data developed in HDR (PQ - Perceptual Quantization) mode, which is supported by Digital Photo Professional.

To install this codec please follow the instructions below found in the "How to Download and Install" supporting document for the download. Exit all other applications when installing this software.

1. In the download page, input the serial number of the camera body printed on the label and download "chevcw1.0.0-installer.zip". Save the "chevcw1.0.0-installer.zip" file to a folder of your choice on your computer.

2. When the "chevcw1.0.0-installer.zip" folder saved to the computer is extracted, the "chevcw1.0.0-installer" will be generated, so double-click "chevcw1.0.0-installer.exe" in the extracted folder. Installation for Canon HEVC Codec will begin. (If the User Account Control window appears, follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.)

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Yeah but it doesn't come up as a program. Also what does it do for the Mark IV. Change the coding of MJPEG?
