problem with connecting MG5650 by Wifi to pc by Direct Connection

when I run the set up program the option for Direct Connection is faded out and cant be selected. I can only connect by Direct Connection as I dont use a router.Why is the Direct Connection option not available? Thanks

From what I've seen, it won't let you select direct connection if you are currently connected to any sort of wifi because it assumes you dont need it. Try disconnecting from any network before starting the setup program?
