I've used this printer for a few years. I'm switching my ISP and have a new router. When I go into wireless setup the printer sees the new router. When I select it I'm not asked for the router password. It just tries to connect which obviously fails. How do I get prompted for the password?

I am having the same problem. I moved and am trying to connect my printer to my new internet provider. I can not get the router to recognize my printer. Have you found a solution?

Not really. I got someone from Canon on the phone to find which printers would connect to a 5G network. I discussed the root problem with the printer not allowing me to enter the router password. He said it was a security issue. I changed the router to WPA2 only instead of WPA2/WPA3. That allowed me to connect and print. However the next day my connection kept dropping frequently so I changed back to WPA2/WPA3.
We really don't print that much so I may look into just using a USB cable.
