EOS 90D Continuous shooting not available

…because you are reading the section about Live View Shooting.  The electronic shutter is not available through the optical viewfinder.  The OVF only uses the mechanical shutter.

I want to shoot with Live View and electronic shutter.  I can do it for a single shot, but not for continuous shooting.  Why did Canon put in this limitation?

I would guess that there is some electronic limitation related to sensor readout speed.  Try using the other shutter modes.

I suspect it is related to sensor readout speed because the slower continuous shooting mode seems like it might still be available with electronic shutter.
