pixma mp500 attached to PC_XP PRO, Networked toMac Snow Leopard. DRIVERS?

Well the system is; Pixma mp500 attached to PC_XP PRO, Ethernet to router.  Printer working fine, controlled by that PC works great.. Wireless connected tothat router, are my OLD MAcbook Pro running Snow  Leopard.

 

 

Computers seem to be linked and often sync through ? Router? Dropbox?   Google cloud?  I Tunes?  I HAVE not tried to figure it out, but they are clearly synced in most ways. At this point, my mac dous not seem to see it.

 

So, Should i install MAC Drivers?  On my Mac?   Please help

Hi majorfunding,

 

Unfortunately, the PIXMA MP500 is not a network printer so it does not have the ability to be shared between Mac and Windows computers. You can share between Windows computers, Mac computers, but not Windows to Mac computers.  In order to do this, you would need one of our network models.  To view information on our current network models, please visit the following direct link:
