Pixma MX922 Error C000

YDR
Apprentice

When attempting to restart my Pixma MX922 printer I get the C000 Error code. I have gone through the entire printer and there aren't any paper jams or debris. I have changed all the cartridges. I have removed, cleaned and reset the printing head. When restarting the printer, it will engage a piece of paper halfway through and then give me the error. Is there a rebooting method that will clear the error beyond plugging, unplugging, plugging and pushing the power button? The one mistake I may have made is to move the ink caddy against its will. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

Based on the steps you have taken, you have done what we would suggest. It looks like the printer has experienced an hardware failure and would need to be replaced.

If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.

If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.
