MG3220 PIXMA darker ink coming out greenish?

It looks like the when printing black and white it's okay-ish (a little bit of smudging) but when printing out in colors, it typically ends up horribly incorrect, with green patches and other discoloration all over the image. When looking inside I saw that it looks like the cartridge may have leaked or exploded in some way, but looking for any advice or help. Also I've run two CLEAN PRINT HEADS and one DEEP CLEAN PRINT HEADS although I understand I can do another deep clean 24 hours from now. Thanks so much in advanced- and yeah will post if I manage to fix it myself!

After posting on reddit, I fount that the issue might be because of the ink cartridges I was using, so I'm going to attempt to use official canon ink cartridges, and see if that makes a different.

As far as the ink residue inside, I was also informed that this is normal when triggering the cleaning head process.

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MG3220 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!

You can also speak with a Canon Upgrade Program specialist to help you score a modern replacement that would meet your current needs at a discount. You can reach them weekdays and Saturdays at 1-866-443-8002.

Hope this helps!
