Green flash on play back

I have a  two year old VIXIA R10 that is suddenly flashing a transparent lime green flash about every second on play back.  Have tried different flash drive, no help.  Have tried different lighting settings, no help.  Is this camera toast?

Hi Creekster,

For assistance with this, I recommend contacting our Technical  Support Department.  Please let them know if the green flashes you're seeing are during playback on the camcorder, your computer (or both).  Also, if they're happening just on your computer, let them know how you're transferring movies to your computer.  You may contact us by phone or email.
