PIXMA TR8620 printing too large

I recently bought this printer and it is printing articles in 18-20 size font! A waste of ink and paper and i do not know how to get it to print normally! (12 or 14pts). Is this a plot by Canon to get us to order lots of ink? I'm usually printing articles from the internet.

Greetings,

What type of documents are you printing?  Web pages, text.  .PDF files, Word docs.  Does it happen when printing from every application or just one?

Hi Connie. Try printing a standard non-web document to determine if it is a printer issue or a particular webpage issue. I have a TR8620a. Just printed this webpage from MS Edge and it printed normally.

Hi Connie,

We still need to know if this printing is consistent across other applications.

Are you using windows or MAC?

Does this happen when you print from all applications?

Are you using any Zoom settings?  This could be in your display driver, or in the browser itself.
