Zoom slider not working on camera connect app

Have latest version of camera connect app on my galaxy s8 phone, but cannot activate the zoom slider feature (for T6 camera) any suggestions?
Does Rebel T6 have Bluetooth capability?

I want to connect my galaxy s8 to my T6 1300D camera via Bluetooth (not wifi). Is it possible? My phone doesn't find the camera.

Well, I thought I would ask. It must be the T6i that has Bluetooth capability then as per Canon website, otherwise it's false advertising. Too bad T6 doesn't.Thank you again.

Thank you! That makes sense. At least the AF feature does work through the app.
