Hey everyone, was wondering if this speedlite has been quietly discontinued? Or did it become super popular and they're all scooped up?

It seems to be unavailable at all the major retailers, including new and refurbished on Canon Direct.

HI Danfaz,

I have not heard anything about the EL-1 being discontinued. I suspect another batch to be available within 3-6 weeks. I think the EL-5 is going to start shipping in 3 weeks (hopefully). Not sure if it will affect the EL-1's availability.
