Strasbourg is a picturesque destination worthy of your time.  Located in the eastern Alsace region of France on the border of Germany.  Its the official seat of the European Parliament.  Storks are a protected species here and you can find their nests in trees and atop light posts throughout the city.  They mate for life and return to the same nests each year.  During the second world war, the city changed hands between France and Germany frequently.    We were only there for the day, but took full advantage of its beauty.  Colmar is only 30 min away and is also a special place to visit.
