I lived 10 miles away from Biltmore Estates. What incredible site it was during the holidays people who would never been there were blown away at how opulent, grandiose and not a single room left undecorated. The restoration of the Biltmore was done so tastefully and, obviously no expense was spared nor is it ever when it comes to Biltmore estates. And I have to admit as much as I like spring and their flowers Christmas is the time to be at the Biltmore they make it so beautiful every single touch is perfection and of course we have a living tree growing in the center of a beautiful room, decorated so beautifully people were in awe. Season after season the staff of Biltmore estates create what I can only relate to as nostalgia for a family that was associated with wealth, power, and old money for the time for you that they lived in they lived in absolute luxury no matter what home they were in but it was the Biltmore or it was the Adirondack mountains they had mansions and homes everywhere but Biltmore by far is their greatest creation. We are sent back in time and we could almost live how the rich lived... room by room.
Whenever we had our parents come to visit us they always wanted to go to Biltmore didn't matter what season it, as long as their trip to see us involved going to the Vanderbilt Estates. Over the years, I've been to the Biltmore nine times in total and I still love it! And, a really wonderful picture, by the way.
