Question about upcoming Solar Eclipse for Video

Hi everyone! I know we’re all excited for the solar eclipse in a few weeks! It seems like just yesterday it was 2017 lol.

So I haven’t taken images of the eclipse since then and trying to prepare for it but this time I’ll be taking video of it with my C300 MK III instead of photos. I’m just looking for advice on how to best prepare for it or general advice?

My gear:
C300 MK III
Lens: Canon 100-400 4.5-5.6 II
Filter: Marumi 77mm DHG ND 100,000 Solar Filter (16.5 stops)

Settings: 120fps (4K RAW)

Also forgive me because I’m paranoid: this filter will work right? I used it in 2017 but just paranoid since I’m taking video now and not photos lol thank you all for your help and comments! I don't know if this will matter or make a difference.

Also for totality will using the cameras internal ND filters create better dynamic range? I know it won't be as good as a HDR photo via bracketing but it's what I have now.

You don't need a filter for totality, in fact you want to take it off.

That filter sounds fine, and the internal ND filters don't go nearly dark enough for direct sun shooting.
