i have a printer that allows 4-5 computers on the network for it but two of our last computers can not find the same printer. does anyone know if the canon printer limits the amount of people or computers allowed to be connected?

Hello!
So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know more information.
What is the exact model printer you're using (it's usually on the top or front of the unit)?
Do you see any error messages?
Which version of Windows or macOS are you using?
How do you connect to your printer (USB or WiFi)?
Any other details you'd like to give will only help the Community better understand your issue.

@beckd247,
There is no limit "per se" on the number of computer that if connected to the same wireless network that can print.
Your network equipment might have a limit on the number of wireless connections it will allow or can handle. This varies by manufacturer, but its typically 32 or more unless you are using a very old product. (very old) <<
The printer itself has a buffer and will accept print jobs from all connected devices. It will process them as quickly as physically possible. However, if you tried to send 100 jobs, from one or more devices (even if they were small) some of them might time out if the printers buffer was full and could not respond within a reasonable period of time. This is not likely, but possible and could depend on factors such as the number or jobs, their size, network bandwidth, etc.
So please clarify what you mean by "two of our last computers cannot find the same printer"? If the printer is connected to a wireless network, you can set up as many devices as you want to send print jobs to it. The printer has 32mb of memory and can print about 19 ppm. Its intended for home or SMB use. It holds 150 sheets of paper and has a duty cycle of 5,000 pages per month.
