Until I updated to OS X El Capitan my laptop would print on the network

Since I updated my laptop to the latest OS X El Capitan software my laptop will not recognize my Canon MX430 printer.Can someone help?

my printer mx492 displays connected to my router; however, my iphone and dell laptop don't see it.
