Where do I enter WPS PIN Code for Pixma TS3520

MSPixmaWiFi

I just bought a Pixma TS3520. The WPS button method to connect to my router is not working (press the button on the router and the one on the printer, and let them connect). The screen shows the "antenna" icon with a small "X" to its right.

I am trying to use the Setup Option 9 - Running WPS (PIN code method). Where do I enter the PIN code for the router? The display on the printer just runs through a flashing set of symbols, then eventually gives an E32 error code. On a more expensive printer (my older PIXMA), you can read everything on the display screen but this one doesn't have that.

I'm going to return this printer if I don't get this fixed quickly. I bought a Canon because I liked my last one and was easy to use...

First, thank you shadowsports for replying to help me! The link you sent is for the "push button" WPS setup. Unfortunately, as indicated in my first note, that did not work for me. Setup had directed me to use the "WPS (PIN Code) Connection" on this webpage: https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Tutorial/TS3500%20series/EN/TRL/trl-3000-b.html

However, searching the knowledge base further, I have found "PIXMA TS3500 Series Wireless Setup Using a USB Cable - Windows" at this webpage:

https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART179592&actp=search&viewlocale=en_US&search...

And the directions there worked perfectly! So, I'm set, thank you again for your kind help!

Sincerely, MS

Greetings,

Set up option 9?  We have no idea what steps you are following? (sorry)

I cannot comment on your purchase decision, big LCD, little LCD, etc.  I have found however that convenience does come with additional cost.  The printer supports connection to a 2.4Ghz broadcast.  Your routers network configuration might also affect your ability to connect easily.

Look at the above information and let us know how far you get.
