How to create desktop shortcut for PIXMA TR4720

Just installed this printer on my windows 10 Desktop, during utilities download it did not give me option to create desktop shortcut, how do I create one?

there is one for photos.

Hi,

Please try the following: 

Go to the list of devices under Printers and select the printer to create the desktop shortcut for. Right click on the printer's icon and select Create shortcut. Windows displays a prompt and offers to create the printer shortcut on the desktop. Select Yes.
