The new Microsoft update 2022-11 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5020622) or Windows 11, version 22H2 breaks the communication from my PC to my Imageclass MF227DW scanner. I use it wireless and the printer in the Multi-Function still works. When it broke, I restored my PC from an image backup and MF Toolbox 4.9.1.1 worked. I did the update again and the communication was broken again. Thanks

Same here except with a MF644CDW. I too suspected 22H2 in Win 11 as it was working without issue USB connected to a Win 11 system pre-22H2. I connected the MF644CDW to a cell hotspot WIFI network to update the firmware from the MF644CDW itself, but no change after the firmware update. Two different Win 11 22H2 systems with 3 different USB cables. Windows just never detects that the MF644CDW is connected via USB. Thank you for your post as we had not used the MF644CDW via WIFI before, but I just tested it via WIFI and it will print and scan successfully.
