This printer no longer prints text clearly or images with proper colors. Black works better than colors, but marginally.
I have tried deep cleaning several times, and it prints adequately only for a day or so. I've had this printer since 2016. Is it time for me to buy a new one or is it fixable?

Hello,
If the print is fine for a while after a cleaning and then it starts to fade, it will usually point to an ink supply issue. In this situation, you can try replacing any low ink tanks or any that have an ! or X over the ink level. The issue could also be caused by the ink tank or the way it is seated in the carriage. You can open the front and check the inside right to see if any ink tanks look out of place.
If all the tanks are full and are in place, it does look like the printer needs service. Outside of the 1-year warranty, you can contact our sales team at 1-800-385-2155 and use our Upgrade program. The program would give you a discount and free shipping on a replacement printer. We do not have service centers that work on this model, but you can check for any third-party office equipment/printer repair in your area.
