MAXIFY 2020 Print head banding

I recently purchased a Maxify 2020 Printer. The color printhead is constantly banding and will not clean up with cleanings. The printer is only a month old and still under the manufacture's 1 year warranty. But I cannot get anyone to answer the phone when I call Cannon Support.

How can I get this print head replaces under warranty?

Phone Support for your MAXIFY GX2020 is available at 1-800-OK-CANON (800-652-2666), Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm (ET). You'll also find personalized options within your My Canon Account at https://canon.us/account 

If you call our support number, you'll need to tell the automated system that you need technical support and tell it that you have a MAXIFY GX2020. Again, that team is 8am to 8pm, Monday through Friday.

I have called multiple times. And Yes, I did tell the system that I need Tech Support. And after being on hold for 45 minutes, I get disconnected. This has happened 4 times. 

And there is no support option in the account other than to call. the chat feature is never available.
