Canon CT-V1 Wireless Pan Cradle and iOS8?

Does the Canon CT-V1 Wireless Pan Cradle work with iOS8. The lit says 5/6/7, but that isn't always current. Thanks,

SX50HS - LCD doesn't display in any of the shooting modes..

lens cap is off . The LCD works in playback mode.

T2i upgrade
