Why no Shutter angle on EOS R3?

EOSR3

I'm currently using an EOS R3 for commercial work/client work in marketing and advertising. it's the perfect camera for a 50/50 mix of stills and video work.

I plan to get a "B Camera" at some point in the next year, but the lack of shutter angle pretty much forces me into the R5C, which is much less practical for the kind of work I do/plan to do.

Having 2 identical EOS R3's would be the ideal situation.

How can I request this feature to be added? is there a feedback submission page? The FX3 is getting shutter angle.

You can visit the main Canon USA web page and in the upper right corner as well as at the bottom near the copyright notice, click on [+] Feedback.

Having said that, I think it would be doubtful to add a shutter angle feature to gear that are not primarily for video as the cinema cameras are.

Cinema cameras also typically give you better control over frame rates. For example, being able to set the system frequency to get true 24 fps rather than having to use 23.976 fps.
