Currently, It will only allow me to film clips 10-15 seconds... how do I change it to allow me to film longer??
Thank you!

Hello Chobitsb,
Your EOS Rebel T4i is capable of recording much longer video clips. The biggest factor to consider here is the memory card you are using. Full HD video requires a higher speed card because of the large amount of data being recorded. I recommend that you use a card that is at least Class 10 rated or better. If you are using a slower card, the camera's memory buffer fills up too quickly and the camera stops recording.
If this is a time sensitive-matter, additional support options are available at Contact Us.

John, great info, does this mean as long as someone stops recording and re starts recording (could be done by remote I assume) every 10 minutes or so there should be no issues if using a 32 gig card, etc.....

I realize that this is an old thread, but I was having the same issue all of a sudden! I have figured out that somehow my settings were changed and it was on "video snapshot".
Set the dial to the video setting, then on the screen press the Q button. On the left hand side at the bottom is the video snapshot setting, to turn it off.
