Welcome to the community.  The R7 is one of Canon's latest cameras.  Packed with features.  I suggest you spend some time reviewing the user guide to become fully familiar with the camera's settings and operation.  The R7 is quite sophisticated compared to models released just a few years ago.  Beyond that, get out and start shooting.

We look forward to your participation.

hello Demetrius

Thank you for your response, I thank you for the YouTube link and FroKnowsPhoto happens to live in my area I believe. He is superb. I’m going to check this one out it looks right on thanks again regards Al

I'm always here to help. Photo has been my hobby for 6 years. We all have a beginning with photography. Whether that was in the film era or the current digital era. Manual Focus or the Autofocus wars of the mid 80s. DSLR vs DSLT vs new Mirrorless cameras of today. Even lenses old and new and you can't forget about speedlites. Including different flash metering systems TTL, A-TTL and E-TTL.
