Maximum SD card for a Canon 450D

I've just bought a canon 450d. It definitely works with a 16gb SD card I had in another device at home.

Need to buy an SD card for this camera.

Most stores I've come across don't have anything smaller than 64gb micro SD cards with an SD card adapter.

A quick Google search took me to forums from around 2008 where they were mostly talking about maximum 16gb or 32gb SD cards. Haven't found a source explicitly stating that I can us a 64gb micro SD in an SD adapter in the camera.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Greetings,

Stick with 32GB.  BandH has them.  Full size only.  (no adapters).

First, always avoid micro SD cards.

In looking at your camera's manual, it doesn't state that it can work with SDXC cards; just SDHC.  B&H Photo is one store that still sells 32 GB SDHC cards.  e.g. the SanDisk 32GB Extreme PRO UHS-I SDHC Memory Card (manufacturer #SDSDXXO-032G-ANCIN)
