Having an issue with my new ronin RS 4 gimbal, according to the dji website my canon eso r7 is compatible but it won't let me take pictures or film it does connect via Bluetooth im new to all this and would appreciate help.

I am afraid that you will need to contact the manufacturer of the gimbal for assistance.

Greetings,
Visit the DJI website. Select your gimbal, then camera compatibility. Then select your camera. This takes you to the feature support page for your body and your gimbal. Cable, Bluetooth, etc. Look down near the bottom of the page for a link that says setup method.
This tells you how to configure the camera to accept controls from the gimbal.
I recently did a deep dive of the Ronin 4 Pro, FeiyuTech Scorp2, Zhiyun Crane 4 and many Hotems. I can tell you that the Ronin 4/Pro is the industry standard and the one all others are measured against currently. This is because of the new eco system they recently introduced.
