EOS R6 Mark II - All multiple image for focus stacking only JPEG

Just used my Canon R6 mkii on focus stacking and note every shot is JPEG. On my R7 the shots were RAW and only the composite was JPEG. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello, PNE!

I have never used the in camera stacking feature of our R6 II but I have used it many times to get shots to stack in DPP (and Helicon). So, to see if I could reproduce your problem, I just shot a quick stack and let the camera do the composite. I shot Raw only and although my composite was JPeG, the shots it used were all still Raw and on the card.

I would double check and make sure you are shooting Raw.

Hello Newton

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately checking I was shooting Raw was my first action. In fact (C)Raw.

Any other suggestions would be most welcome.

Hi Newton

Problem solved. I had inadvertently ticked the  L JPEG box as well as Raw (which gave me one of each) and the system I was using to interpret and view the results was only showing the JPEG results.

Thank you for your interest.

Thanks Newton, I was waiting for a response on this thread as I am beginning to learn/use the stacking feature myself. Want to take a shot at some macro.
